The third foray into the Sonic the Hedgehog series was also during Sonic Week in July 2023 for the Twitch livestream channel. I also played this in cooperative alongside Ashterial to the finish line. I found this to be a pretty fun and good game, and kind of an expansion from the second game with a few more doodads added in. However, I just still feel like the second game is superior to this one. I know that’s a hot take, especially considering how popular Sonic & Knuckles is, but that’s just how I feel about it. Anyway, we made it all the way through together via Parsec and it was a fun experience nonetheless. I enjoyed my time playing through yet another really fun cooperative adventure in the Sonic franchise here.
