Let’s Play Perception (Steam)

I haven’t played too many games where you take the role of a person who is blind, but I do find games like these fascinating. This adds an interesting twist that you are a blind person coming back to an old home with a millenia of history behind it, some good and a lot bad. Evil spirits are running amuck and they don’t like you being here. I found that the game’s three options really helped balance it to how you’d like to play. I played on the normal standard version where you could die, and I did die about twice. It’s an interesting game that leaves a lot to the imagination, and really makes you figure things out being all in the dark visually except for your cane cues. The checkpoint system did really help indicate where to go next, which was a huge help.
