I feel like I would have cheated the entire Sonic franchise if I hadn’t picked this game to be in my first one hundred game completions at Croakitoad, so here it goes! The original Sonic game that started it all on the Sega Genesis! I forgot how hard this game can be, especially towards the later levels! And then, you fight Dr. Robotnik in his final boss test tube battle and it’s not really that challenging at all! In fact, I did it with no rings and didn’t mess up at all! Those later levels leading up to that final boss fight, though… phew! I was really happy to finally jump into Sonic and not sure why it took my this long to finally put my foot down on it, but we’ll get a lot more Sonic coming up very soon now that we got the original game completed!
