Decided to jump onto Unreal Tournament 2004 for the first time since my Unreal Championship days on the original Xbox just to try it out and see what kind of nostalgia I could jump into! There was quite a bit, as I could remember certain characters and even a few maps from those old Xbox days. This was a lot of fun, too. We definitely need more people to jump on this next time around and play with us! I’d love to see a full 16 player lobby full of community members playing this, but maybe someday we’ll achieve that dream. For now though, this was a fun stroll down memory lane and a nod to what could possibly happen again in the future!

Three hours of GoldenEye: Source
This was a Twitch.tv community challenge redemption that was 100%’d by the community, so we all jumped on GoldenEye: Source to try it out. This was my first time ever playing GoldenEye multiplayer at all and it was a lot of fun to try out especially with a lot of friends joining me. I was glad to hear about all the nostalgia trips everybody was getting from playing GoldenEye 007 back in the day on the Nintendo 64, which was super fun to be a part of. I think the later matches taking place at the Cradle map were a lot of fun and probably the peak of the session, I definitely want to come back and try this out again with more peeps and just have a whole lot of fun. I didn’t know what to expect going into this, but I am definitely impressed and would like to see more of it soon!
50-Fighter Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Simulation Tournament
This was by far my biggest concept yet for my monthly Smash Bash Tournament I do once a month on my Twitch livestream channel! I selected fifty characters from the community to be represented in the game and we held a one night only single elimination tournament in what was the biggest Smash Bash Tournament ever conducted! This was really fun and awesome to watch, considering a lot of characters got some action that didn’t usually see the time of die when being picked by community members. I think for my next major challenge, I’ll either try to have every single Smash Brothers character be represented, or we’ll do a giant 2v2 simulation tournament next time! Either way, my ambitions are big and I can’t wait to see what happens next!

QuakeCon 2021: Spending the BYOC from home
2021 was host to the second year that QuakeCon was going to be from home, so we as a community prepared to make the most out of it and had a whole lot of fun gaming across several days, including some co-op fun that I wasn’t even expecting until the very last moment! QuakeCon always comes around each year with its fair share of swag, so I can’t forget to post up all the cool stuff I got this year to celebrate the event from home, including three cases of BAWLS energy drink to cover me probably until QuakeCon 2022 as well!
With the preparations and swag in tow, the livestreaming for the next few days went off great with tons of great games being played across the whole weekend. Games like Phasmophobia, Golf With Your Friends, Tabletop Simulator, Friday the 13th, Dead by Daylight, Minecraft, Fire Pro Wrestling World, Fallout 76, Rocket League, Fortnite and Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War. Tons of multiplayer action went all around and lots of fun was certainly had, almost as if we were in the BYOC like any other normal year for QuakeCon!
It wasn’t just multiplayer games that got the QuakeCon 2021 treatment, though. We had planned on doing a full run of the original Quake for some time, and it was about time to make that happen while the event was happening. A handful of us got together and played through all of the levels of Quake together utilizing a co-op mod, and it actually ended up being a whole lot of fun! For many, it was their first time even playing Quake, so I was glad to have shared that experience with some friends while QuakeCon was live in 2021!
Not only that, but the decision came very late into the event that since we had beaten the original Quake at QuakeCon 2021, why not try another one of id Software’s greatest hits and let’s break it down and play through some Wolfenstein 3D?! This was also achieved using a great co-op mod and we were able to rip and tear through all of the maze-like levels gunning down nazi’s and their generals to make it to the very end of the game. This was another achievement I am pretty proud of, because it took place (once again) at QuakeCon!
There was another contest going on during QuakeCon, and that involved pets wearing hats! So, I figured what the heck. Why not indulge and have a little fun since we’re all making the most out of the event. I saw a lot of great contestants in the contest, and decided that my Great Pyrenees, “Sarge” would make a great contestant for the event, despite not really being one to wear hats normally! While Sarge didn’t win the contest (it went on to a snake in a birthday hat!), we still had a lot of fun enjoying and celebrating another year of QuakeCon!
So here’s to everybody that celebrated this annual event in their own way or another, and to those who spent it celebrating with me through classic co-op games, fun times had through multiplayer games, and that always juicy QuakeCon Steam Sale for those amazing deals you’ve been waiting for! While it wasn’t spent in person, I’ve been going to QuakeCon for many, many years and I can’t wait to attend in person once again. I hope everybody had a fun and safe QuakeCon 2021 and here’s hoping we’ll meet up next year!
44-Fighter Ultra Street Fighter IV Simulation Tournament
First of all, I can’t believe the fighter out of 44 characters actually won this entire tournament. If you had told me it would have been him, I would have laughed, but it does also make sense that he would also win, because of how meme/trolly my streams can get on Twitch! Thanks everyone for entering and selecting a character to represent you. This was a lot of fun to sit back and watch and see how it all broke down. I also became enlightened on a lot of Street Fighter characters I really didn’t have any knowledge about, and I am all about expanding my knowledge of different video game franchises and learning more about them. I am sure we will end up doing this again just because how fun it ended up being to watch, so keep your eyes peeled for another simulated tournament in the future!

The very first Twitch subscriber perler
The first perler has been created for Twitch.tv subscriber and community member Joenado97, who won this art piece in August via the Twitch subscriber’s raffle that is held every month in our Discord server! The Half-Life inspired Lambda logo was chosen since we had beaten Half-Life together through cooperative gameplay thanks to the Sven’s mod available on Steam.

Seven hours of the Jackbox Party Packs
Another Twitch community challenge points redemption, everybody pitched in to have a nice, wholesome (mostly), fun and entertaining night of Jackbox Party Packs! We went from the second game to the seventh game and almost hit up every game in each pack and had a blast doing it. A full stack for nearly the entire seven hour period, it was a lot of fun. I hadn’t ever really hosted a Jackbox stream before, and I learned a lot about a ton of the games that were on some of the Jackbox collections. We will certainly have to do this all over again, hopefully next month! Could this be a new monthly thing at the channel? We’ll have to find out!
30-Man WWE 2K20 Viewer Simulation Rumble
We decided to hold a simulated thirty man Royal Rumble match on the WWE 2K20 video game on Steam, since there really isn’t much use for it anywhere else in the e-fed regard. We had thirty community members pick a WWE superstar to represent them in this rumble match, who did it come down to?! And just because the game can’t get enough of itself, the game actually CRASHED on the winner’s screen after the match was over. Sometimes you just can’t book this stuff. Really hoping that WWE 2K22 is a great, overall, solid game that can be used to bring the fun of e-fedding back to the community! This just goes to show that WWE 2K20 was not a great release and it still boggles me to this day how they could release a game like this that just refuses to work like it does.

Civilization VI: Gandhi beats us in five hour session
Well, you know what the joke is about playing Civilization games. You won’t just be able to beat it and move on to the next, oh no. You better be ready for the long haul and the overnighter when you start up a game of Civ. That’s exactly what happened here when we did an online game of 4v1v1v1. Ultimately it came up with India and Gandhi coming up the winner through a science victory, beating all of us. I will return to this game and win a round of the game against the computer’s, no matter how much time it takes. Gandhi might have won this round, but it isn’t over yet!
Tomb Raider 2013: One round of versus against ClosingSniper
After completing the campaign, I decided to try out a little bit of the multiplayer on the Xbox One servers and so ClosingSniper and myself ran one quick match to see how everything worked. This was actually a lot of fun, and I’d love to see a lot more people join us for a night of Tomb Raider 2013 multiplayer versus. Hiding out in the trees and stalking CS was a lot of fun, exactly the kind of way I like to play my games. It came down pretty close between us, but I squeezed out the victory on this battle! We’ll have to do more of this soon, because this was a lot of fun!
Overwatch: Two intense matches of Lucioball
I’m not exactly sure what happened to my microphone during this gaming session and didn’t realize until after it was over, so apologies for the quality. I had to capture these two games of Lucioball though, because they were the two most exciting matches I’ve ever been a part of! I’m glad I decided to stick around and help Ashterial & Zazzeris get the last few wins they needed for the Overwatch Anniversary 2021 event challenge for the week two skin, because this was a lot of fun! Both games were crazy from beginning to end and came down to really intense endings.
