Just a quick YouTube channel update about all of the amazing subscribers I’ve gotten the past week and news about breaking $1000 raised for this year’s St. Jude Children’s Hospitals PLAY LIVE event! Thank you, everybody!
We’re on our way to becoming a full-fledged YouTube partner with monetization, so thank you to everybody who has helped me along the way! Lately, I’ve been converting videos in my YouTube catalogue and adding newer and better thumbnails to most of my videos. I’m also starting to upload a lot more exclusive YouTube content rather than it be just my livestream VOD’s send to YouTube.
Honestly, you can’t get any higher than this moment right here. It’s everybody’s goal who starts livestreaming gaming and becoming a member of Twitch to not only become a Twitch partner, but to eventually livestream on the front page of the entire website! We were able to do that on April 7th, 2026 while also airing and showcasing some Croakitoad Pro Wrestling on the WWE 2K26 video game. However, the first nearly two hours of the eight hour timeslot was of me just thanking and talking about everybody else who helped get me to where I have gotten! This is the recorded video of me giving thanks and handing out flowers to anyone and everybody who has ever followed, raided, lurked or just been a member of the Croakitoad community. This goes out to all of you, so thank you very much for making a Croakitoad’s dream finally come true! We made it on Twitch! We did it!
While the Super Bowl was going on, Nate and I decided to match up on Madden NFL 26 to play the real life game through a video game! What happened was a way more memorable and entertaining Super Bowl game than you could have ever seen in real life! The Seahawks and the Patriots took each other to the limit, with the Seahawks looking like there are going to take the win early, but the game ended up super close ending at 49-47 at the end of it! Some really entertaining moments here in the game for those who felt disappointed by the real game that took place! We dubbed this “The Pooner Bowl!”
Hello everyone! It’s time to present the first ever Croakitoad Pro Wrestling Golden Rope Awards! These are annual awards given out to the very best of the season for CPW Wrestling on a calendar year schedule! Since this is the first, we’ll be tackling the first two years of Croakitoad Pro Wrestling’s existence in one set of awards here! I appreciate everybody who joined in on the first two years and seasons of Croakitoad Pro Wrestling and made it a great first two seasons to start everything off with! Here’s looking forwards to a great future on the next season of CPW on WWE 2K26! With that said, here’s the official Golden Rope Awards for Croakitoad Pro Wrestling for the first time!
Grem Our first ever CPW Golden Rope award winner for male wrestler of the year goes out to our very first ever World Heavyweight Champion; Grem! Everybody’s favorite fan favorite and hero of CPW won the first main event to become crowned the World Heavyweight Champion to kick off the launch of CPW, and even managed to hang onto the belt for 238 days, a World Championship record still to this day! He managed to hang onto the belt all the way up until he was finally dethroned by RAJI, but only when he put his hair and beard on the line at Beach Brawl 2025! Grem has been around a long time and first got his start into the Croakitoad multiverse around 2010 and rose through the ranks to become a main event player throughout the years. It was a well deserved victory when he was the chosen one to carry Croakitoad Pro Wrestling through the first season and into the second season as the standard bearer of the company!

Spinny Our 2025 CPW Female Wrestler of the Year goes out to our favorite dragon lady in the women’s division: Spinny! While she wasn’t the very first Women’s Champion of CPW, Spinny captured the gold from Celestia on December 31st, 2024 and managed to hang onto the Women’s Championship for a whopping 175 days, still a record to this day! She was finally toppled by her biggest rival yet in her career: Ashterial. The two had a huge pay dirt match against one another in the 60-Minute Iron Woman Hell in the Cell Match which Ashterial did win (more on that later), however Spinny was an important part of that match, having won back the Women’s Championship to keep the rivalry hot and heavy through the 2025 season. Spinny was known for taking women rivals out left and right with her dragon suplexes and dragon twist cutters during her reign at the top of the women’s division, and for that we have to give the nod to her!
Feats The 2025 Breakout Star of the Year for Croakitoad Pro Wrestling was one of the toughest awards to hand out, because a lot of people did a lot of really big and groundbreaking things in the first two years of CPW when you least expected it! However, we have to give the award over to our favorite dino hunter: Feats! While he didn’t have the rise to prominence in the early days as some of the other nominees, Feats certainly made up for it later on in at the end of season one and well into season two with his foray into the Twitch.tv Television Title division while having wars against Jimmy Zazz, Buttons, Roxas and Mr. Coke. Feats ended up winning his first title belt in CPW on April 29th and managed to hang onto the belt for a whopping 211 days, one of the longest title reigns in CPW so far! His reign was finally toppled by Hype on November 25th, 2025 in a surprising loss, but his reign as Television Champion cannot be denied! His matches usually ended fast and decisively and turned away challengers from all ends, making for a very impressive start to his Croakitoad Pro Wrestling career!

The Titans There were a lot of really great tag teams to hold the Croakitoad Pro Wrestling World Tag Team Titles since the very beginning, whether you look at Ashterial & Tad Peters representing the Dead Zone to kick off the titles, to the unassuming tag team of Morzall & Mr. Kantot holding the record for the most days held at a whopping 147 days as Tag Team Champions. However, one team really stood out from all of the rest when it comes to the top of the tag team division and that would certainly have to be The Titans! The ironic thing about this is that Welsh Mosher & Anubis Khan certainly didn’t start off as tag partners back when Croakitoad Pro Wrestling first launched. In fact, they were at each other’s throats from the very beginning, resulting in some of the the most brutal earliest matches we witnessed on the show. Eventually, they’d put their differences aside and decide to team up together to put their massive power against the rest of the CPW roster to claim the World Tag Team Titles. They are as of now the only team to hold the belts on two different ocassions and are always a force to be reckoned with when you hear the horn call out into the arena. You know you’re in big trouble when the two big boys come out to tear through the opposition. For the sheer combined force visually and in the ring, we have to give the Golden Rope Award for Tag Team of the Year to The Titans!

Celestia (“Stealthy Steps” by Yuzo Koshiro) Our first ever Croakitoad Pro Wrestling Women’s Champion walks away with our first Golden Rope Award for Theme Song of the Year, and this was a really hard category to choose from. There are so many great entrance themes in CPW, so it really was hard to narrow this down to just a single winner. However, nothing gets you jolted then hearing the shrieks of Blaze Fielding from Streets of Rage, followed by the groovy remix of Stealthy Steps hitting the speakers. Most people have had experience playing Streets of Rage before, and can immediately recognize the groovy theme song as Celestia makes her way out to the ring. I was a huge fan of this theme song and I still am, and as hard as it is to make a decision here, I have to hand it to the Stealthy Steps remix!
Ashterial vs. Spinny in 60-Minute Iron Women’s Hell in the Cell Match (Deadly Games 11/30/25) I think one of the most decisive winners for our Golden Rope Awards is this category right here, and it probably surprises nobody that this match would end up winning for our first ever celebrated Match of the Year at the Golden Rope Awards! This is the match that brought the Women’s Championship to the forefront as one of the most important championship belts in all of Croakitoad Pro Wrestling. It showed that Women’s Champion Ashterial and former champion Spinny could hang with literally anybody else on the roster while contained inside a Hell in the Cell structure for an entire hour. They literally almost tore the entire cage structure down, damaging every ceiling panel you could possibly damage and most of the walls in their brutal feud ending fight over the Women’s Title. This match started off the Deadly Games 2025 event and set the tone for the rest of the matches on the night. This was one hell of a match, and if you happened to miss it or weren’t there for it, you need to go back and watch this masterpiece of an epic match. I don’t think it could have been scripted any better and ended in one of the craziest ways you could think of. Kudos to the ladies on the big win here!

Miles Wildmore vs. Linky This was yet another super hard category for me to decide on, because there were so many great feuds and rivalries in our first two years of Croakitoad Pro Wrestling. You can’t go a full show without Coke v. Roxas being a thing, or just the other constant trash talking going down across the entire board of the massive roster when it comes to CPW. I think what made me decide to give this award to Linky and Miles is the fact that their rivalry started super early on and didn’t even start as a rivalry. Miles had been infected by The Dead Zone’s Zombie after being bitten and turned to his own madness and chaos. Meanwhile, Linky has been on a rampant campaign for two years to try and save him from his own inner torment. This has lead the two to constant promos in our Discord server and has involved several other superstars on the roster as time has gone on. The fued is, in fact, still happening to this day! The war has raged on through parking lot brawls, ambulance matches and even seeing Linky disappear for a few months as he was on an adventure to try and bring his partner Connie back from the lands of Hyrule after being put away in a casket match by Alicia. While there were a lot of great stories and rivalries to culminate from CPW in our first two years, I believe Miles and Linky took it to the next step and really made it out into a story amonst one another in the most possible way they could.

The Slapper (Burnsy) There were a lot of great finishing maneuvers we have seen in the first two seasons of Croakitoad Pro Wrestling, but one of the most decimating moves we saw was when special agent Burnsy arrived on the scene and started dropping people in his matches with the dreaded Slapper move! This would eventually culminate in him capturing the Young Lion’s Championship from Spike Ryan, ending his first run as the champion. Burnsy would go on a tear after having won the title belt, putting away opponents with the feared Slapper until the Repo Man would come out of the woodwork and end up putting an end to Burnsy’s reign as Young Lion’s Champion at Altar of Pain in August 2025. While Burnsy’s supremacy hasn’t been quite the same since losing his title belt, anytime you square off against the 00 agent of CPW, you must always be weary of when the dreaded slapper will come reigning down over the top of your head, knocking you completely out for the 1-2-3! There were a lot of other great finishing maneuvers in CPW, but the slapper has certainly made its mark in its short time since Burnsy has debuted on the show!

Wizardboz Our resident plague doctor and former World Heavyweight Champion certainly delivers quite the entrance, and probably one of the best of all time. Let’s be honest, it’s really hard to beat the theatrics, pyro and animations of one Wizardboz here! Combined with his amazing theme song, the entrance just goes hard, and always has done! It was a tough decision to make here, because there are a few other really great entrances in the world of Croakitoad Pro Wrestling, but Wizardboz really has to take the dub on this one! The master of tonics, reagants, poisons, elixirs and baubles picks up the very first Golden Rope Award for having the most intricate entrance of the entire roster, and one look at Wizardboz making his way to the ring and you cannot deny this fact at all.

Nathan Moore returns after heart surgery There have been a lot of great moments since Croakitoad Pro Wrestling held its first show on September 24th, 2024. Some really big moments that you won’t forget, and some other moments that will likely always be regarded for as long as CPW continues to run its shows every year! Unfortunately, there can only be one winner for the first ever Golden Rope Award for Moment of the Year, and really there’s one choice here that hits really deep and close to home. We know our good friend and personal long time friend of mine Nathan Moore went through some surgeries in early 2025 and was down for a few months in the hospital which really hit close to home. We have lost close friends before in the past like Domino and Sneaky Shawn, and for a while Nate was in some troubling times, so we are all super thankful that he got through the surgeries and made it out the other side and is as good as new. Nate has always been a huge part of my e-fed projects and projects I’ve done online, so it would have totally been like a big piece went missing if we had lost him. For this reason, we have to search outside the box for moments and give this one out to Nathan Moore for still being with us and making it through his journey.

It’s time to celebrate another year here at Croakitoad, celebrating all of the best moments, games and highlights from the entire year of 2025! Thank you all for being a part of another great year with me and having such a fun time getting through brand new game completions, first time completions or just having loads of fun in multiplayer with me across the whole year! It’s time to commemorate all of the best of the best when it comes to the community and what transpired the entire year, so we’re going to award our second annual Croaki Awards for the community right here! Red Dead Redemption 2 The winner for the second annual game of the year for the Croakitoad community has to be Red Dead Redemption 2. This was a first time playthrough, and the beginning of the game was even hampered by the decision to NOT go for all of the achievements on the Xbox and instead play on the PlayStation 4 instead and have a casual run at it. The story was so rich, that there’s not a whole lot of other games out there that can really match up to it. Following the adventure of Arthur Morgan with all of the cast of characters across the land was definitely an adventure that you’re not likely to forget anytime soon. The community support for the game to watch this first time playthrough was also very rich, and a lot of people seemed to enjoy the cosplay that went on for the duration of the game as well! Some of the other nominees up for game of the year in 2025 were very close, but Red Dead Redemption 2 stands on its own as our grand winner for the Croakitoad community!

ABZÛ This game absolutely snuck up on me as a huge contender for 2025 Indie Game of the Year! When I had put together my nominees list, I was not even aware of this game at all until I had finally played it in mid December! I played this game on the Xbox and went for all of the achievements and just had an overall very pleasant and cozy time. You can’t really die in this game, and it’s all about exploring the underwater depths and swimming through all of the different shades of colors and checking out the vibrant underwater sealife you’ll come across through the process of the game. Lots of collectibles needed, but it wasn’t that bad at all. This was a really tough category for me to choose from, as there were a lot of really neat indie games I played in 2025, but this last minute creeper wins out just for the sheer feeling of adventure and exploration it gave to me.

The King (Pocket Bike Racer) I know what you are thinking. You definitely didn’t expect the mascot from Burger King to be winning the video game character of the year for 2025. Think about it for a moment, though. Once the Pocket Bike Racer playthrough took place back in February of 2025, the lasting impression that The King put onto the Croakitoad community with all of the Burger King SFX and memes to follow lasted throughout pretty much the rest of the entire year. I can’t think of any one other character that had this lasting impression on the community like the Burger King did after this one unassuming playthrough I did going for all of the achievements on the Xbox 360! Some of the other choices were really hard to make here because they have a bit more concrete backstory to them, but in terms of a lasting impression, the Burger King has made the cut for 2025!

Clock Tower: Rewind This was yet another tough category to choose from, as almost all of the final nominees were such great cases for being my horror game of the year in 2025. Ultimately, it came down to how I thought that Limited Run Games & WayForward brought back an old niche classic like Clock Tower and gave it a lot of extra. From the classic music being reimagined, to a brand new anime style cutscene for a backstory, there was a lot going for the Rewind version. I played this on Halloween night while dressed up as Jill Valentine from Resident Evil, so it holds a special place in my heart for that reason as well. I really enjoy the original Clock Tower and the music is just so iconic to me. The character concept of Scissorman is also really well done and creepy as all get out. This is a great game to play late at night on Halloween with all of the lights out!

Driver Another category with a lot of really satisfying moments for me throughout the year of 2025. Ultimately, it came down to my decision of being able to get through the training parking garage at the very beginning of Driver (for those who know, you know) and then being able to run through the rest of the campaign without utilizing any cheats, save states or anything like that. I was able to beat the game legit, and at the end of the day I am really proud of myself for being able to pull it off. This is considering just how hard some of the levels can be, with unfair RNG police officer spawns blocking your destination and cutting you off. Just the parking lot tutorial level itself caused so many controllers to be thrown and rage quits back in the day, and I was able to get through it in my first ever playthrough of the game and I really enjoyed this moment, even if it was in January of 2025.

Chrono Trigger This was yet ANOTHER tough decision I had to make and I’ll tell you how I chose Chrono Trigger based on probably the next possible winner in Vice City. Because of the obvious copyright and DMCA issues, my entire playthrough of Grand Theft Auto: Vice City was kept fine by constantly keeping the radio stations off. I played the entire game without really checking out much of the music, even if a few songs did slip in from time to time, like our local favorite Japanese Boy by Anika. Unfortunately for Vice City, this makes it a really amazing nominee but not our winner. Anyone who knows anything about Chrono Trigger will know that it has one of the greatest game soundtracks of all time, so it was a worthy contender from the beginning. From Frog’s Theme (duh) and Robo’s Theme; to the iconic opening title jingle, Chrono Trigger delivers on all fronts when it comes to absolutely amazing songs from top to bottom. I had no choice but to deliver the goods to this all-time classic JRPG in the soundtrack department!

PEAK Typical for the Croakitoad community, we played A LOT of multiplayer throughout the year of 2025. We had so many fun and amazing moments and laughs playing a plethora of different games in the year, but I really honestly believe that only one game came along to really get everyone amped up for another community night coming up with the Croakitoad community. Last year’s winner in NASCAR 25 was definitely in the running for a repeat win, but due to the news of the servers closing down three quarters through the year, the races ended prematurely while the peaking kept on keeping on. There were so many fun and hilarious moments from PEAK (many of which included our favorite friend Roxas997), but also included special moments with lots of fun friends across Twitch. PEAK really makes me look forwards to playing again and time and time again with all sorts of friends and the fact that the game is different every single day just makes it that much better! Thanks everybody who joined along with the peaking through the year of 2025!

PowerWash Simulator 2 (w/ Various Croakitoad Community Members) There’s nothing I love better than a really good and chunky co-operative video game. In fact, I’m a sucker for that kind of game. When PowerWash Simulator 2 was finally released after an anxious year of hearing about it, I was chomping at the bit to jump back in and wash some brand new things I have never washed before alongside my friends in the campaign! In hindsight, I hate that we blasted through it so quickly and it just kind of came and went, but in the moment it was so much fun to relive the game once again like I did back when I played the original game for the first time ever. I had so much hype for this game when I heard about its release and I was so happy to be able to play this all the way through alongside so many different Croakitoad community members at my side!
Beating Pokémon HeartGold with an Unown Even before we even started this playthrough, I told everybody that we were taking an Unown to the Elite 4 and beating the entire game with the Unown as the captain of our Pokémon team. When the time came for the game to finally be played, I left no doubt about who and what I wanted on my Pokémon team from the getgo. It was not expected that I’d find a shiny Graveler and Magikarp along the way as that was completely unplanned, but the Unown was a strategy implemented from the very beginning and we succeeded! I would consider this the moment of the year, as a lot of people thought that it would just be kind of a joke or not be used halfway through the game. However, we took our brave little Unown to the very end and even to the big fight against Trainer Red where Unown actually almost got the winning shot to take him down at the very end of the game! This was a really feel good moment, as it took several streams to make it all the way through the game knowing that Unown was going to be the MVP of the entire run!

The consistency of rage from Roxas997 during multiplayer nights The fact that this wasn’t even a nominee during last year’s Croaki Awards is a shock to me. However, we couldn’t let this one pass. Despite having to switch WWE 2K25 from PC to Xbox and completely rework the entire roster, or the consistent PC issues I had throughout the year resulting in my having to install a brand new motherboard in my computer, or the constant annoying things I came across in numerous video games, I think we all know that the “Rox Rage” would have to win this award out for the year of 2025. Whether it be drowning in a pit of lava in PEAK, or getting choked out by a ghost in Phasmophobia, there’s a reason why we dub it the Rox Rage, and it’s a real thing. Lately, it seems to pop out a lot while playing PEAK, and for random reasons. We just hope that everybody has got the volume set down low when it comes to Roxas coming in to join for some fun and wholesome multiplayer with the community!

Cokesodacan, Celestia1416, Zazzeris, AzurRayne They say you can’t run a successful stream without having proper mods and people who serve as the backbone of the streamer to maintain a healthy community and environment for everybody to enjoy, and that’s absolutely true. This year, I give out four awards for Mod/Assistant of the Year at Croakitoad throughout the year of 2025 and all for very different reasons! We can thank Cokesodacan for his ongoing support in helping me in almost all multipurpose things when the stream isn’t live, whether it’s helping run the bot and systems with that, or archive videos and playthroughs and just keeping things in check when it comes to PC issues. Celestia gets recognition this year for being “the quote master,” providing mostly all of the quotes in our database from all very interesting things that randomly come out of my mouth during all of the streams. Zazzeris wins once again for providing assistance and maintenance on the growing library of over 700+ SFX that you all love to use during all of the livestreams. Last but not least, AzurRayne also gets his flowers this year for not only being very hands-on in helping install the new motherboard into the PC towards the end of the year, but also providing some really fun moments in having predictions happen in the Twitch chat during Croakitoad Pro Wrestling. All of the mod and support team at Croakitoad help out and help maintain the community in their own ways, but I really wanted to highlight the pillars of the mod team for the year of 2025 in doing what they do to help maintain, upkeep and support my and all of my streams and make the streams fun and accessible for everyone to enjoy!
!repoman This was yet another tough category to hand pick one winner from, but we’re going to go ahead and give the win to the old 1990’s WWF wrestler Repo Man! When this became a SFX created by Zazzeris, I had no idea (and probably nobody else did either) that the SFX was going to take off throughout the year like it did. It took a few people to really find the intro and the theme song catchy in the year of 2025 to make things happen and get the ball rolling, resulting in the Repo Man actually showing up to Croakitoad Pro Wrestling and winning the Young Lion’s Championship as a direct result of the SFX becoming as much of a meme that it did in the year of 2025. When has that ever happened? While there were many other very strong contenders, like the neverending supply of Roxas content, people loving to fart around, Paul Bearer reminding us he’s always around and the super catchy “bitches leave” that resulted from the Robocop playthroughs in the middle of the year, we’ve got to give it to the ‘ole Repo Man for the win as the SFX of the year for 2025!
And that will do it for our 2025 Croakitoad Game of the Year awards for the Twitch channel and content on all platforms! I hope everybody enjoyed our second annual awards presentation and enjoyed remembering some key moments that occurred throughout the 2025 year! 2025 certainly brought a lot of fun and amazing moments whether it be from the single players games I completed, the multiplayer nights we all enjoyed, the birthday and anniversary events we shared together or the outside of streams moments that happened; good and bad. We were invited to play in a few rounds of Omega Strikers for the in-house tournament taht took place back at QuakeCon 2025! Team Croakitoad participated as two different teams in the tournament, and this is a clip of our particular match which was super thrilling and back and forth all of the way to the end! This is Croakitoad teaming up with Razorbackhitman and ModernSlave against another set of opponents at QuakeCon’s BYOC room. This was a lot of fun and I can’t wait to play more Omega Strikers in the future! You can find the game for free on Steam and other platforms for free!
From earlier on, I knew this game was going to be a lot of fun! We got to get a little hands on with the demo and the beta as the game went through its finishing stages and finally became a fully released game up to this point. Now that the game has been released, we spent three hours playing around with it and trying out the different modes and having a lot of fun! At the time of this recording, there’s two maps with multiple difficulty levels and also a PVP 1v1 mode as well! At one point towards the end, we were just trying to earn our ranks to the top of the leaderboards to get some really good PAR time and points! This is a lot of fun and I’ll come back to this game again very soon! It’s also really cool to be able to know Yooper Games personally as well, as he sat in on the gameplay and the livestream to watch and comment to the viewers while we played along!
It’s time for the first ever Croaki Awards! Time to present the best of the best when it comes to the entire year of 2024! From The Last of Us Part II to Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag, there were some really great games and incredible bangers represented on the channel from January to December and I decided that this would be the year to kick start and launch the Croaki Awards for the first time! I also included a special category voted on by the community as the Viewer’s Choice Game of the Year that was played on the channel in 2024 as well and the result did not really surprise me at all. We’ll get to that in a little bit! We’ll go ahead and start off with the top awards first and move on down the line. Thanks to everybody for being a part of this amazing community through the year of 2024 and enjoying some of these amazing gaming classics with me for the first time! It’s been a blast reliving and visiting these video games I’ve never had the chance to play before!
Kena: Bridge of Spirits This was one of the most highly anticipated games I was waiting to play for so long. Having released on the PlayStation and PC first, I waited a long, long time for the game to finally be released on the Xbox systems and actually went out of my way to purchase the physical copy of the game for the console. When I played through this game, I just knew I was going to get all of the achievements for it and I did just that. This game really hit me in the feels in 2024 like really no other game truly did. From the amazing visuals and soundtrack to the cute little “rot” creatures that you collect along the way. The game just felt overwhelmingly amazing and I really feel like in the grand scheme of things in the gaming world, this game is truly underrated and just kind of flew on by for most people and recognition at that. This is definitely my Game of the Year for Croakitoad in 2024.

Silent Hill 2 Remake I decided that since I am streaming and completing these games to the world, that I’d actually let the Croakitoad community out there vote on what they thought truly was the best experience out of the entire year in 2024. Winning by an overwhelming victory was Silent Hill 2 Remake, which was also very tightly contested for game of the year for me as well. I can totally understand why so many people would pick this game, as it was incredibly well done and Konami and Bloober Team did an excellent job of keeping the old school style we all love while also adding quality of life and a bit of newness to one of the best horror games of all time. Definitely a top notch choice and a super fun experience to play through! I can’t wait for the inevitable Xbox release so that I can knock out all of the achievements on the game!

A Short Hike This was a very hard one to pick from, especially with so many different cozy and games I could totally vibe out to in the year of 2024 that I played. So many cats involved in this category but yet the one that wins out is the little bird who wants to visit the top of the mountain on his very short hike. This was a fun little adventure game that was just a great overall experience to play through. Lil Gator Game was a lot like this game, but this edged out based on the graphics style that I really appreciated, and I really enjoyed the wholehearted story the game presented. Every single one of these games could have won the indie game of the year for me personally, but I had to pick a winner and a winner I did pick. I totally recommend every single game on this list to anyone who’s not had the chance to play them!

Abby Anderson (The Last of Us Part II) Yet another hard choice to make, as so many character I came across in the year of 2024 really had a lasting impression or stuck with the community for long after I had already completed the game. I feel like The Last of Us Part II had probably the most anticipation leading up to it because I know what I had heard and I know what I had seen before having played it but had never experienced it for myself. The muscle mommy herself would do the one thing that fans of The Last of Us would absolutely hate, but then the story gets twisted and confusing because of all of the repercussions that happen afterwards. Almost all the way through this playthrough, I knew I wanted to side with Abby and I wanted to be Team Abby. Time after time she dropped it and left it done and dusted but Ellie just had to keep on pressing. The only drawback to this character was the forced sex scene that took place that just literally had no emotion and nothing going for it, but I won’t blame Abby for this.

Silent Hill 2 Remake Silent Hill 2 Remake rakes in another Croaki Award for the year of 2024, proving just how great this game really was. It brought the old school nostalgia style of the original game combined with the quality of life of today’s improvements in gaming. The soundtrack was just as amazing as the original, the experience was just the same if not better and just being able to revisit “that town” in today’s graphics and technology was just an absolute blast to do. Plus, Bloober Games threw in a little bit of extra on top just to spice things up a little bit so it wasn’t just the “same-old, same-old.” Dead Space Remake was just as great and a huge adventure in itself, and Dead Space is one of my favorite games of all time, but Silent Hill 2 Remake just really knocked it out of the park in terms of ambience, horror and my god just that soundtrack is just bar none.

Tomb Raider I•II•III Remastered The overwhelming feeling of having completed all three games plus the expansions for all 269 achievements felt like a giant wave of relief knowing I was completely finished with the trilogy. Don’t get me wrong, my time spent with Lara Croft traveling through the lands of Peru, Egypt, Italy, Antarctica and even the South Pacific Islands was an absolute blast. I really enjoyed what Aspyr did on the remakes here and the photo mode is just an absolute gem of an addition to these games, being able to warp around and just check everything out. Some of you might be saying this might be a bit of a cheat, considering this is three games wrapped up into one, but considering all 269 achievements were grouped in together and I had to get the job done, this was just one giant task including all three games. Special shoutout to members of the Croakitoad community who got me through the three games plus the expansions. It was a long and stressful ride, but we got the job done and I felt so great afterwards having completed it all the way through. That’s definitely the definition of most satisfying, I’d say.

Silent Hill 2 Remake Another award presented to Bloober Team and Konami for having the video game soundtrack of the year. Akira Yamaoka brings back his classic lineup of just all-time gems from the Silent Hill 2 original soundtrack up to date and modernized for the 2024 gaming audience and it just slaps. The music is just as much part of the Silent Hill universe as anything else, including the gameplay and it just hits right. There’s no possible way I could have really given this award to any other game, knowing just how powerful and how vital the soundtrack is to this game. Any other composer could have came along and the game would just immediately fall into obscurity, but it’s because of the soundtrack that Silent Hill is what Silent Hill is, and what Silent Hill is is a winner of another Croaki Award in 2024.

NASCAR Heat 4 It’s hard to believe that the game gifted to me by Cokesodacan on Steam in 2022 was just a little unassuming game gift turned out to become such a menace in the Croakitoad community throughout 2024. Beating out such hardcore mainstays like Phasmophobia and Dead by Daylight is super impressive, but there’s no denying that the race track took over in the year of 2024. Maybe not all of the time, but the times the drivers hit the track was absolutely unmistakable. The laps at Bristol with no flags and causing “the big ones” has been an ongoing meme ever since the very first lap. This was a tough one to call because Phasmophobia is so dear to our hearts, but because of their push to consoles, a lot of the content for Phasmophobia just wasn’t there in 2024. It’s hard to believe that a game gifted to me two years prior that really had no place fitting into the multiplayer schedule rose straight to the top, causing even more people in the community to purchase the game themselves and join in on the multiplayer fun.

X-MEN: The Arcade Game (w/ Zazzeris, Ashterial & Cokesodacan) Another really tough category to choose from because there were so many great cooperative experiences in 2024, but I really have to hand it to the X-MEN: Arcade Game because of just how awesome this game is to play. Whether it be classically in the old arcades, or through Parsec with active multiplayer like we did on this run, this game is just a hell of a lot of fun to play. It’s just too bad we couldn’t get the full six player cooperative working, or it would’ve been even more epic than it already was. This brought back all the nostalgia of seeing and hearing this game at the arcades and thinking how cool this game was, even if I wasn’t the biggest X-MEN fan of them all. This was a lot of fun to play through alongside friends and I’m glad to have experienced this arcade game, just like we did with The Simpsons: Arcade Game and Area 51 before in the past.

Croakitoad Pro Wrestling officially begins This might seem like the easy answer out of the list of notable nominees, but so many people were waiting for so long for this to kick into gear so that when it was finally ready to happen after so many years, most people didn’t really believe it was truly happening. The road that Croakitoad Pro Wrestling went through was a long and turbulent one to get launched; from the terrible experience I had for the first six months of WWE 2K24, to the constant launches that just didn’t feel right and so they were canned for the following year. Now that we are several months into the consistency of CPW, most people would probably forget how hard and rough the road was to bringing it back onto the schedule after so many years, but it finally happened and now we’re live every Tuesday night with that amazing wrestling action. This had to be moment of the year, bringing such a staple back onto the forefront and as an active part of the streaming schedule and community as a weekly event.

The unbearable six months of the broken mess known as WWE 2K24 As the aforementioned category just talked about, the launch of WWE 2K24 was absolutely marred with crazy glitches, bugs, game crashes and AI that just refused to cooperate. Nothing was altered or modded in, this is just the base game that just decided upon itself to just not work properly, hindering the progress of Croakitoad Pro Wrestling into what felt like another year being put onto the back burner. Finally, it seemed like one random update one day finally fixed all of the issues and we could actually play the game as it was normally intended for once. The beginning months of this travesty absolutely put me on a rage path at times, as it seemed like all of the hard work and updating, I had been putting in creatively was just going to be all for not.

Cokesodacan, Zazzeris & Celestia1416 This couldn’t just go to one person, because as great a streamer is, nobody can really do much without help on here, and these three individuals have helped me out so much in so many different ways! This goes without saying for Cokesodacan, who has become the right hand man on things needing to be done, technical questions and help behind the scenes on random tasks that are never seen or heard about when the stream is actually live. He has helped out so many ways I wouldn’t be able to list them all here. Zazzeris comes in with his help in building up our incredible SFX library with his diligent work in constantly adding in lumps of sound effects to add to the library that everybody enjoys while utilizing the !random command or any other specific commands. Most of the SFX have come from him, so you can thank him for his audio editing work throughout the year of 2024 in contributing. Celestia quickly became a really important part of the mod team and editor by being so consistent with her quote work! Pretty much all of the quotes that happen now come from her hand, as she constantly adds in quips and the weird things I say on stream that half the time I don’t even realize what comes out of my mouth. Almost all of the quotes have come from her, and that’s why she’s being recognized here! On top of this, the mod team in itself has done an incredible job of keeping the Croakitoad community a safe place for anyone and everyone and keeping the bots and other negative energy out. All three of these individuals, plus others not named have also helped contribute by making Twitch clips that are used to help promote Croakitoad on other social media platforms like YouTube, Tik Tok and Instagram and have been an incredible help to help spread the word of our community!
Cokesodacan It’s really hard for me to make this a category because everybody has done so great in helping contribute on those weekends when I’m not home and away and helping provide content to the Croakitoad community on those particular weekends. When I am looking for someone to give the award to, I’m looking at someone who streamed the most amount of dates reliably and was always able to fill in if needed, even if it’s never required. For this, I look no further than Cokesodacan on this award to win the first Guest Streamer of the Year award for Croakitoad! Most people I think would recognize that Coke has streamed the most guest dates on weekends and has put in a lot of hours providing that content, whether it be Fortnite, Jackbox, Dead by Daylight, Tomb Raider or any other gaming content he’s known for. Don’t let this be twisted to any other members of the guest streaming team, everybody is appreciated and loved for your volunteer support in keeping Croakitoad’s content growing over the weekends in 2024!
!roxas1 This was another tough cookie to try and sort through, because a lot of these SFX get used a lot by the Croakitoad Twitch community. Certainly, when you come to a Croakitoad stream you would be hard pressed not to hear a single time where Roxas’ infamous collection of SFX and voice lines are not heard. It’s almost like a nightly occurrence, and while some of the SFX are quite a bit old and vintage, they just seem to never die off in popularity. So Roxas, if you are reading this, you actually won a first ever Croaki Award for having such memoral SFX and voice lines, how do you feel about this? Beating out other such cult classics like !bomb, !paul and !machoman is pretty wild, but nobody can deny the power of Roxas and his collection of sound files when it comes to Croakitoad streaming. Whether it be “I Suck!” or “I’m smart now!,” Roxas lives with us whether he’s actually in the livestreaming Twitch chat or not, and for that, he’s being awarded here for his dedicated work in providing a constant stream of content to the community.
So that’s that, the 2024 Croaki Awards in all of its truest form! I managed to dig through some of my old files and found a really old interview I had with Adam Jennings back in 2005! Adam Jennings is the solo game developer of a game called Promotion Wars, which is a professional wrestling booking simulator that allows you to run the everyday activities of a wrestling company. This is one of the oldest (if not the oldest) wrestling simulator that exists on the internet, free to download throughout the years.
As of now, it seems as though Promotion Wars has gone through a restoration project due to the diligence of its fans the game has acquired throughout the years after a long hiatus, and still gets updates to this day by Adam Jennings himself, which is pretty cool! I always found myself installing Promotion Wars on any new computer or laptop I had back in the day, running different real life wrestling companies like WWF or WCW the way I saw fit and booking whoever I personally wanted to win the World Heavyweight Title. I figured this would be a really cool addition to my website (and super nostalgic) since this pre-dates really any type of Twitch livestreaming or hardcore gaming and dives more into that era of my life.
I was honored that Adam took time out of his day to answer a few of my questions through email and have just held onto this interview throughout the years. Maybe some old school wrestling fans or Promotion Wars fans might enjoy seeing this!

Croakitoad: You and your game dynasty was actually nominated on a fan’s Top 100 Video Game list. Keep in mind this list is for “video games,” not wrestling SIM games. How do you feel about this?
Adam Jennings: Very surprised, and immensely flattered. Maybe they haven’t played many other games!
Croakitoad: When you first created what we all now call Promotion Wars back in the day, did you ever expect to have this many people supporting, or backing you and find this many friends on the internet?
Adam Jennings: When I first worked on Promotion Wars, I never even intended putting it on the internet – it was just a personal project. As I got closer to completing it, and I had the idea of putting it on the net, I was only expecting to get a few comments on a forum and then that would be it. I didn’t even have a web site. How it has turned out has completely blown away my expectations. I’m still amazed there are people who call themselves fans of my game, let alone people who make their own web sites dedicated to PW!
Croakitoad: There’s a lot of people out there who love to make moderations to Promotion Wars and change things up on the original game mode you made. Do you sometimes feel robbed when people change some of your programming to the game for their own satisfaction?
Adam Jennings: Well, none of the actual programming of the game can be changed. Only the information the game uses, like stats and images, can be changed. I’m glad that people do change it, and with each new version I’ve tried to make more of it edittable to the player. Its a vital part of the games lifespan to have lots of different scenarios and stats updates available to the players. It makes sure there is always something fresh about playing the game, rather than feeling like you’ve done everything that can be done.
Croakitoad: I’ve been a member and reader of the Promotion Wars forum for a while now and I’ve noticed you’ve got a lot of support and friends. Have you ever made any sworn enemies between the debut of the first Promotion Wars and current day?
Adam Jennings: I’m sure I made plenty of enemies back in 2001-2002. When I put PW onto the internet for the first time, I was still fairly new to the internet and to programming. Going from that, to so many people on the internet knowing me, and talking about me and my game on different web sites, being involved in running a message forum for the first time, making web sites for the first time, doing a lot of programming stuff for the first time, having the pressure of people waiting for me to finish making a game for the first time, and getting so many emails every day… its was an overwhelming experience, and like most things people to for the first time, I made mistakes. I handled some things badly, and it made a lot of people turn against me. Luckily, the enemies from that time have all moved onto something else now, so PW life these days is a lot more peaceful!
Croakitoad: An interesting question here.. Everybody knows you are the sole man in charge when it comes to the programming of Promotion Wars. Has anybody ever tried to take credit for what you accomplished?
Adam Jennings: Not that I’m aware of, although I did see somebody advertising their upcoming sim once – named Promotion Wars 2. This was before I’d attempted PW2 myself, and someone had just taken it upon themself to start making a sequel to it themselves. I emailed them and they respectfully agreed to use a different name. Then there was a time when a certain person whose name I forget now, but he became infamous on the PWSE site for announcing huge new games, promising graphics better than an X-Box game – and it turned out he hadn’t even began learning to program yet. Anyway, this guy once emailed me proposing that we work together on Promotion Wars 3. I declined, and he then told me that he was already about 25% complete with it (after about 2 weeks) and seemed put out that he’d have to scrap it!
Croakitoad: What’s your favorite video game of all time? Do you have an exact reason why this is your favorite pick?
Adam Jennings: I don’t know if it would count as a video game, but my favorite game of all time would be the football management game for the PC, Championship Manager 97/98. It was the most addictive game I’ve ever played, and was a big influence in Promotion Wars.
Croakitoad: What did you find to be the hardest part about building the Promotion Wars franchise. Was it the frustrating times dealing with obsessed fans, or did it have anything to do with the programming? Or.. could it have been the time juggling Promotion Wars with your life happenings?
Adam Jennings: The most difficult thing was probably adjusting to all the new situations I found myself in. The actual programming of PW 1.0 wasn’t too bad, because there was no expectation or pressure. Trying to then make a new version while dealing with the sudden popularity and spotlight, and trying to keep everybody happy by answering their questions and giving them as regular updates as I could without giving away too much or lose their interest by not updating enough… struggling with the programming and knowing that people were getting fed up of waiting… It was a hectic time, and not one I’d ever like to experience again.
Croakitoad: Everybody knows that Promotion Wars and Extreme Warfare Revenge have pretty much been the top dogs in the wrestling SIM game genre. Do you hold any grudges against EWR or Adam Ryland? Has anybody tried to start some negative politics between you two?
Adam Jennings: There was a definite rivalry between the games back in 2000/2001 – EW 9000 was the number 1, then PW came and overtook it in popularity, then Adam R hit back with EWD, and I think we were pretty neck and neck around then. It would have continued with PW2 against EWR, but things fell apart for PW and EWR went on to unheard of success. It was only natural during that time for each game to develop its own loyal group of followers who saw either me or the other Adam as the ‘enemy’. I think Adam R and myself both played up the rivalry between us a few times, though there was never any issues between us. If the WrestleXpress event in Coventry had gone as planned, Adam and I had actually agreed to meet up after the show. I commend Adam on the amazing success he’s had with EWR, and now to be making a living from it with TEW. The better man won the “war”.
Croakitoad: I just thought about this and found it pretty funny myself. Have you ever wondered the coincidence of the creators of Promotion Wars and Extreme Warfare Revenge both having the same first names?
Adam Jennings: It was a regular topic back in the day, to the point where people wondered if it was possible to have a successful wrestling sim if your name wasn’t Adam!
Croakitoad: Finally, a question that every interview with you has probably asked and you are probably getting tired of it. Do you have an exact timeframe when you may just out of the blue start working on the next building block in the Promotion Wars era?
Adam Jennings: Its a difficult thing to answer. There is lots that needs to be done to the PW series, but its been a long time since I had enough time to sit down and do it. Work on version 1.3 started in August 2003, and the final thing wasn’t released until October 2004. Its a big time-eater to fit around full time work and the increasing responsibilities of getting older. At some point, things will probably settle down more, and I may be able to give PW my full attention again. The problem is, I have no idea when that time will be, until it does actually arrive. What you can be sure of though, is that there is plenty more I want to do with PW, and we’re far from seeing my idea of the perfect Promotion Wars game.
Well, there you have it! A very old interview from the dusty vaults that I wanted to share with everybody! I hope some fans out there of wrestling or Promotion Wars gets a kick out of reading this nostalgic piece and I do want to thank Adam for taking the time to answer a few of my questions back in the day! I wish nothing but success for the future of Promotion Wars, and in today’s indie game climate, I could totally see the game being added to Steam at some point if the community really pushed hard enough for it to make a huge return!
This was my first time participating as part of the Tomb Raider Community on Twitch for their livestream to help raise money for the Extra Life charity organization! We were able to raise $200 in a span of my two hour timeslot, which was pretty awesome! Because of this, I eventually cosplayed as Lara Croft, showed off all of my Tomb Raider trapezoid box collections and did a few other incentives through the timeslot! It was an honor to be a part of my first event and to help out for a great cause! Thanks to Stella & Arkraider for having me involved, and I can’t wait to participate in more events in the future!
On early access release day, we were able to play the brand new racing shooting indie game from solo developer Yooper Games called Super Battle Polycars! This is a really fun action racing game that gave me quite a lot of memories from games like Twisted Metal and Vigilante 8! With a lot more content coming in the future including cosmetics, game modes and unlockables, this seems like a really fun game to play with your friends, whether you are gunning each other down in four player versus, or taking it online against people on the servers in 4v4! Yooper was a delight to have on the stream, talking and answering questions about his game while guest Croakitoad streamer Zazzeris hosted the experience! I can’t wait to see more content out of Super Battle Polycars in the future and be able to have more gaming sessions with friends as well!
