After having played through the entire game of Black Flag and enjoying it for what it was, which was an excellent Assassin’s Creed game, I decided to try out the expansion DLC that would later turn out to become its own original released game: Freedom Cry. This is a short story side game based on Adéwalé, the man you meet in the main game and becomes your first mate on a lot of your adventures. He parts ways with Edward Kenway through his journey and goes off to do his own things, and we find out exactly what that is right here. This was a LOT of fun, and I never felt more bad ass in an Assassin’s Creed game than I did while playing as Adéwalé. He is a brute, and I absolutely love it! His giant machete just cleaves through meat and leaves nobody standing. So good! I wish this game wasn’t as short, but I really had a lot of fun playing this one!
