Let’s Play Castlevania

Let the salt begin! I managed to get through this classic pretty alright up until about the fourth boss and then it started getting hard. This game holds up for a reason and it’s Castlevania, so it had to be played during Horror Month in 2021! Whipping your way through a ton of levels in Dracula’s Castle and taking out hordes of bad guys and his gang of boss fights, the game really starts getting difficult once you defeat the double mummies. With the infamous floating medusa heads and then the arrival of the flea men, this game can get very aggravating. I think the most difficult part of this entire game has to be the boss fight against Death, though. Talk about unfair. It took a slough of save states and just getting lucky to get past that fool. As compared, Dracula’s boss fight wasn’t even that bad at all!
