We defeated Gears of War 2 a while back on the normal difficulty setting, but I had actually never beaten the full game on its hardest difficulty before: Insane! This was a bit of a challenge due to all of the vehicle-play in the campaign and how you have to ensure that things don’t get enough damage before they break and explode. I feel like the first quarter of the game is the hardest, and then it kind of tapers off towards the end. We experienced some bugs and lag glitches on the co-op campaign together specifically around the leviathan boss fight, but we managed to get through it eventually. Always a fun time revisiting the original Gears of War video games!
