Let’s Play Myst

While this isn’t the original version of Myst, I was happy to have finally played through this iconic game for the first time ever in my life. I was originally going to tackle this game on my Oculus Quest 2 VR headset, but I decided it might be better to actually play through this game the first time comfortably sitting down so that I know where and what to do on this fabulous journey. With some help from the live Twitch chat, I was able to get through all of the different areas and work out a lot of the puzzles that would have normally hindered me all by myself. I found this game to be pretty intuitive and the quality of life upgrades that this version brings was pretty good compared to the original game. I still plan on playing the original game was it was intended, and then coming back to this and playing through it in VR all over again, though!

I play through all three original episodes of the Fears to Fathom series, all containing a short spooky story! One involves being home alone, another being alone on a road trip and the other involving a relationship gone bad. Pretty scary IRL situations for sure
