It’s the first game in the long franchise of Mega Man, and we finally play through the OG on the PC/Steam version! I felt like I got through the game pretty good, all things considered. Now for the rest of the games in the franchise
Edward Kenway is a pirate who finds himself in the middle of a whole situation between the templars and assassins! This was the 500th video game completion at Croakitoad, as voted by the community on the Discord server
We run through all box sets and levels, getting every single 100% objective in the game! This was a pretty fun puzzler game that requires you to think pretty hard about enemy movement and timing. Overall, a fun experience that’s pretty laid back and makes you brain think a little bit. I enjoyed the references to Curtains Down from Blood Money, especially
Our third Spyro game and the final for the Reignited Trilogy takes place on the first day of the Chinese Lunar New Year on the year of the dragon: 2024! What incredible timing! We get the full 100%+ completion, bonus level and special cutscene! What a great way to end off our reignited adventures with our beloved purple dragon
This creepy old island that contains a lighthouse must be maintained by your lonely character. As the days progress, you’ll find out that not everything is what it seems on this island and that there are things happening beyond your imagination
A really complex indie horror game with a lot of context that you really have to sit down and understand. Otherwise, you won’t really know exactly what’s going on. There are jumpscares and scary moments, but this is really story driven and heavy to the extreme
You are left wondering about in a countryside as monsters roam around or in most cases just stand there looking at you. There are objectives the game tells you, but good luck really trying to figure out what to do or where to go. We also got an appearance from the Resident Evil 4 regenerator monster in the game
Going back to the old school PSX days of horror of the same ilk of Resident Evil and Silent Hill! This game was a lot of fun, even if on the short side. I really enjoyed this short story and I hope there’s more to come from these developers
This is a really wacky game where you can do a lot of creativity based on what you draw in the game. The storyline involves an alternate reality based on your drawings that comes to life and involves relationships and plot twists. Thanks to cygnified for gifting me this indie little gem we played during Merry Giftsmas 2023
One of many games gifted to me by entertainment_by_thomas played during the Merry Giftsmas event in 2023! A mindless FPS game involving time traveling goblins that doesn’t take itself too seriously
We play through the entire game in cooperative and unlock all of the achievements on the Xbox PC Gamepass version of the game. A pretty wacky game that is made more fun when playing with a friend and you can call out the shots on the puzzle solving
It took me a long time to finally get around to doing this game, but we finally run through via Xbox One and snag all of the achievements in one run! A truly unique game with a light/shadow puzzle system and ambience that you don’t really see in any other game
