This is an all-time great game I really enjoyed back on the Xbox 360 era, and that’s how I played it here on original hardware! I don’t remember the game being this stupidly annoying during the clown part of the game, but wow was that pretty rage inducing for a time. The difficulty spikes throughout the playthrough get a little weird, where you can die in like two hits from things but then the rest of the time you are fine. Not really sure what’s going on with that, but overall the game is a lot of fun and features a TON of Marvel characters back before the huge Hollywood craze had started with Avengers and whatnot. The story is really good and the combat feels good for the most part. I was able to grab ALL of the achievements in the game, despite the really shoddy save system where unlocking an achievement reverts your game to the previous save. What a sloppy system. Either way, we got the job done. I had previously beaten the game with a friend on Xbox Live to get the hard mode achievement, so this playthrough is done on easy difficulty, believe it or not.
