This was a very interesting walking sim indie horror game that was played during Croaktober 2024. You explore a very strange and supernatural apartment complex with jumpscares and other scary moments as you try to figure out what happened to some of the residents who live in this creepy complex
In this day in age, there’s Backrooms games all over the place on the indie Steam horror place. This is another one that I decided to tackle during Croaktober 2024. Navigate through eight different maze-like levels from the traditional backrooms, to the poolrooms and even an arctic puzzle you must complete before you freeze to death
It’s Lara’s final adventure in the second remastered trilogy and this takes the not-deceased Lara to Paris, France on her next adventure. AOD is known to be buggy with bad controls and camera angles and the remastered still brings that to the table, despite also fixing a few quality-of-life improvements. At the end of the day, Angel of Darkness is still exactly that
Join Zelda on an epic adventure as she tries to rescue Link on this experience! You use a magical wand that can replicate certain items around the world to help you advance through the game and defeat dungeons. Lots of recurring characters, landmarks and enemies from a plethora of Zelda games make their appearance which is a really neat touch. I enjoyed this one, really fun and laid back experience even if some of the puzzles make you think
This is a side scrolling beat ’em up game that takes place in ancient Japan as you use martial art and weapons to take out a laundry list of baddies going straight to the top. Not too terribly difficult once you get certain perks and doesn’t take long to complete either
I heard all the talk about this brand new Robocop game that recently came out and I finally had to try it out for myself on the Xbox while going for all of the achievements! Thanks to DeputyDawggg for the contribution on this game that takes place between the second and third original movies! Dead or alive, you’re coming with me
As soon as I heard this game was coming to Xbox Gamepass, I knew I had to immediately play this! I ran through the entire campaign, getting all of the achievements in the process! This is a really fun game without a lot of stress, as there’s no time limits and you can take your time. If you don’t mind the gore and blood and violence but enjoy cleaning, you’ll love this one
This was a really fun and short educational game where you take the role of a mouse who goes wandering around into different terrains outdoors and comes across different birds, animals and plant life. The game is very educational and would be perfect for a child to play to learn about the outdoors. This was a cozy experience, and I enjoyed it very much while also getting the easy achievements
Playing through the ‘remastered’ version of this game was a treat, as I really did enjoy playing through the original back on the PlayStation 2. The story might be a sad one, and it feels bad taking out all of the colossi, but the game itself is very beautiful and loads of fun, even if some of the climbing bits can be a bit annoying. I can’t wait to play the other games based loosely on the same franchise
Big Mutha Truckers, only $19.95! I still hear that commercial all these years later. It was only a matter of time before this game got put onto the queue and early 2025 was it. I played through the mission mode, beating all of the missions in the game. Glad to finally give this a first real try and experience it for myself
From the minds of It Takes Two comes another new cooperative experience that really puts emphasis on working together with your partner through the whole campaign. I played alongside JenVonLee in our first foray together playing and it was a lot of fun! I look forwards to coming back again on the Xbox and getting all of the achievements as well
