The next game in the Fears to Fathom franchise features a man who is a forest watchtower guide taking up a job for a few nights and just overseeing the surrounding area. The first thing I thought is how this resembled the game Firewatch, but obviously a lot more evil and sinister things are at play in this game. You’ll come across a few false scares, but then the real punchline will go down and have you pretty scared. Some pretty creepy things happen out in the middle of the woods at night when nobody’s watching, and just like the other games in the Fears to Fathom series, this could happen to any one of us. That’s what makes this franchise the scariest, in my opinion.
