The story definitely thinks outside the box, giving Evil Within vibes a bit. The action/combat could be better, as every little thing kills you and the game punishes you for dying unless you completely reset. Not a bad game with unique ideas, but I wasn’t really a fan of the combat and action aspects of the game
After getting my first taste of the “hidden cats” franchise back at QuakeCon 2024, I decided to play the Halloween-themed version during Croaktober on the Xbox for all achievements! Such a great and fun game and I can’t wait to play the rest of these games in the series
Securing all five achievements on this game on my original Xbox 360 in a single game. Going back to these early 360 sports titles is always a fun nostalgic trip for me. It’s fun to nerf the game rules and just have a little bit of outlandish fun for achievements
A very short game about being locked inside a house with different stories going all over the place. Achievements unlock left and right for doing the simplest things. Not too bad, just the final ending area got a bit annoying due to autodeath a few times
This game has one of the stiffest learning curves of any horror game I’ve ever played. For all the text and tutorials it doesn’t really help to explain what you are supposed to do. Once I realized I needed to find randomly placed key items in drawers and chests on all floors of the hotel, things started going a bit smoother. The FMV style gameplay for the killer is a really neat, unique feature though
This didn’t turn out to be a 100% achievements run because I missed some collectibles (there’s a LOT of missables), but I had fun with this one either way. A nice horror game that has a unique story full of Scottish accents. The achievements aren’t too bad, just be prepared to have two runs of the game
This was a fun little gem that actually doesn’t take that long to complete at all, if you aren’t focused on weapon upgrades or side missions. I completed everything I possibly could in the game and fully maxed out my train and still finished in under three hours. I’m glad to have finally experienced the horror of Charles
The game does have really cryptic points of progression, but the game doesn’t feel “NES hard” and is a pretty fun challenge. This is probably my favorite Castlevania game that I’ve played so far. How can you go wrong with the amazing soundtrack? Find Dracula’s pieces, stake them and then take him out by stunlocking him
This was a fun little cheap game I found on sale on Steam that I wanted to play cooperatively, so I dragged Cokesodacan along for the ride. There were graphical clipping issues, but other than that it’s a fun little cheap form of entertainment. Would love to see how it works with a max party of players running around though
Being able to survive ALL five nights at Freddy’s was definitely on my bingo card for Croaktober 2024 and I was able to do that! Thanks to a strat that really keeps Freddy in check and allows you to focus on the other animatronics on night four
This was probably my most anticipated game of all of 2024 and it did not disappoint at all! Bloober nailed this one out of the park and completely modernized this horror classic! I can’t wait for the Xbox release so that I can go for all of the achievements now
This game was released on Xbox Gamepass in late 2024, so I knew I had to finally jump on my very first Katamari game. This wacky game had one challenging part on the campground level, but was otherwise a fun little experience rolling things up into giant balls until you get the objective each time
