It’s time for my first ever Spyro the Dragon game that isn’t one of the original three! This came in fourth place in the 800th video game voting poll in the Discord server, so it was time to finally play this game for the first time ever! It took me a while to get used to the isometric play style and camera angle, but once I got over that it got better. The lack of depth perception was a problem for a lot of the trickier jumps and platforms on knowing where to go and navigate to get to where I needed to go, and some of the levels were really confusing to navigate. I really enjoyed Panda Gardens as my favorite level. The speedways were really not that good at all and actually quite annoying, considering I was going for 100% completion and had to do them all on normal and hard difficulties. All in all, a fun side experience for the Spyro franchise. Apparently Season of Flame is better and has some quality of life improvements, so I’ll be looking forwards to that.
