Let’s Play The Witcher

From the getgo, I knew this was always a game I needed to start so that I could finally unload on the Witcher series and get to that big, beautiful Witcher 3: Wild Hunt that I’ve heard so much about. So, here we go! I play through the original game on the Steam version, utilizing a few mods that I found from NexusMods like graphics upgrades and a few QoL options I could find. Still, the combat is a very dated format and the ability to track quests is a bit archaic as well. I only really used one magic spell for combat which was the Igni spell, as I heard it was pretty overpowered and they were right. Once I got the hang of the combat, it wasn’t as bad. It was mostly just the brute running back and forth across the map without a real form of quick travel or teleportation until about halfway through the game that got me. There’s a LOT of going back and forth, so be prepared. I tried to romance as many women that I could while also seemingly allying myself with the elves in this playthrough. Not a bad game, and I’m glad to finally see how the story of Geralt of Rivera begins with this very game so I’m prepared for the other games in the series. It seems as though Triss is the way to go as well in this playthrough!
