This was my first ever Sherlock Holmes game I have ever played, through the Xbox Series X. I grabbed all achievements in the game, some of which are pretty particular in the order you get them. This was a pretty fun detective/mystery game and I can’t wait to play more Sherlock games in the franchise now
This playthrough was intended to get the full 1000 gamerscore on the game on the Xbox 360 and I officially did that. This was mostly through getting master romancer, getting almost every pinata to visit the garden and a lot of the other side tasks required. This game is a fun gardening/breeding simulation game that was a treat to revisit on the Xbox 360 after all of these years
You arrive on an island full of exotic animals and plant life and are able to capture photographs of everything! This gave off Pokemon Snap vibes, but being able to move around and do whatever you want really made this game great. This was a super cozy, laid back and beautiful time exploring all three biomes. The frogs were all over the place in the swamp area
This is a fun little exploration game set on a planet that has been taken over by “the gunk.” You have to cleanse it all away to bring the planet to it’s former beauty and find out what happened to the lost civilization there. Lots of material collecting in this one if you want to get all achievements, so be very thorough
A remaster from the 2006 game that I played the heck out of on the Xbox 360! They did a fantastic job of providing so many quality of life improvements on this game it’s hard to mention them all! This was a really fun time and a really great remaster
One of my first experiences with 616 Games, this is totally what you’d expect from these type of games! You and your friends go out camping after you suffer some childhood trauma and find out that a serial killer in the woods is a little too close to home
I play this game for the first time ever via Xbox Gamepass, scoring all of the gamerscore and achievements. Some of the characters and plots get a little outlandish, but overall it’s a good time. I would prefer if there were more short, rapid succession cases rather than the long and drawn out ones, but I still had fun finally entering the world of Phoenix Wright
One of the last games I played during QuakeCon 2024, this was a fun little adventure game where everything involves cats in a catty world. I had fun with this one, defeating the final boss and the main part of the game. There are a TON of side objectives and side challenges you can do as well, giving this game a ton of replay value. Can’t wait for the second and third game now
My first time ever playing this Nintendo 64 classic via the Xbox Series X, also obtaining all of the achievements and gamerscore in the game. The camera and hitboxes didn’t age well, but the characters, environments and sense of adventure still holds up today. I managed to 100% the game and do everything there is to do
Walk around long corridors in an attempt to find the necessary items to eventually leave the building alive. I didn’t really have any issue with the roaming ghost at all, but the batteries are the quickest dying I’ve ever seen in a game. The game has negative reviews on Steam, but I guess it was alright for what it was
Lots of Silent Hills P.T. inspiration (and assets) in this indie horror game where you walk from room to room, picking up items to go on our way. The ghost lady also looks like a Phasmophobia asset, but I’m not exactly sure on that
Another grand indie horror title from our friends at 616 Games! This one is very much Silent Hill-esque, with lots of freaky monsters, gore and psychological horror. I really enjoyed this one, plus this enlightened me to the awesomesauce that is Karl Casey’s music
