Being that Croaktober had once again rolled around once again in 2024, it was time to tackle one of the games I had been waiting a long time to play and that was Little Nightmares II! I had played previously through the first game and its DLC, so now I was prepped and ready to continue the adventure and see what the second game had to offer. I feel like the story was a lot more open ended and kind of weirder than the first, if that’s even possible. The combat and puzzle sections felt a bit smoother and well refined than the original game but everything else was the same ‘old Little Nightmares expectations. Really fun game that really makes your mind wander about what it is you are doing and what kind of storyline and plot you are crossing into throughout the journey. The ending is a complete jaw dropper and really brings us back to the original game a bit. However, I personally have still got a lot of questions about the story and lore about this game so hopefully when the third game comes it, it kind of connects all the dots between the first two games.
