A game I’ve been wanting to play for a long time, this 2011 first person shooter has a lot of quirky one-liners, memes and dick jokes to go around. You can tell Steve Blum and Jennifer Hale have a blast performing in this game side-by-side, and the dialogue is just out of this world. I’ve never heard so many variations of insults utilizing the work “dick” in any other video game. The story is a revenge arc, with a merc team getting betrayed by the evil general and trying to get their revenge after years of abuse and lies. Insert a planet that has been taken over by beats, raiders and monsters and a million ways to kill people in really fun ways, and you’ve got yourself a pretty fun game. It doesn’t take itself seriously, and just expects you to have a lot of fun. I played this on hard difficulty and didn’t find it too difficult. It’s a pretty fun experience for what it was. Of course, the game leaves with a cliffhanger that never happens since we never got a sequel!
